What We Collect

When you use Hired, we collect your email address and name (via Clerk authentication), your uploaded resume, and job application preferences (target roles, location, salary range). We generate an API key linked to your account.

How We Use Your Data

Your resume and preferences are used solely to automate job applications on your behalf. Resume data is sent to our secure server for AI processing and is not shared with third parties beyond the job boards you apply to.

Browser Access

The Hired app connects to your local Chrome browser via Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP). This connection stays between your machine and our server. We do not store browsing history or credentials.

Data Retention

Session data (resumes, CSVs) is deleted from our servers within 24 hours of session completion. Your account data is retained as long as your account is active.
